Have you ever wondered what other brides are stressing about and what advice they have accumulated? Do you crave all the little details from the proposal to the wedding theme? We do too!
Devine Wedding Design met with Kaela Pinter and Kyle Sales a couple of weeks ago to discuss rentals and decor for their approaching wedding. We’d like to share Kaela’s story in the hopes of banding all brides together to prove that all of us have our own unique story but share one amazing goal – our dream wedding!
Q: How did Kyle propose to you?
A: Kyle proposed while on a fishing trip in November of 2014. He had invited our friend to come along, who just so happens to do professional photography. Unbenounced to me, that was the day my best friend asked the most magical question. The best part is that we have photos of my very surprised reaction!
Q: When is your wedding?
A: Our wedding is July 8, 2017 at St. Mary’s Golf and Country Club. We fell in love with the reception space and can’t wait to say our vows!
Q: What is your wedding theme?
A: Our theme is vintage chic and the colours we have selected are sea foam green with hints of gold. The rest is a surprise being saved for the big day!
Q: What has been the most stressful part of planning?
A: The most stressful part has been balancing school, a new full-time job and wedding planning all at the same time. It sometimes seems impossible but, everything has a way of working itself out and I’m so thankful that I have a very involved fiancé and wedding party!
Q: What has been the best part of planning?
A: How supportive everyone has been! Seriously, we have the best wedding party, both the bridesmaids and groomsmen are always asking what they can do to help us out. I always see in wedding forums how brides are so overwhelmed from planning, but so far it’s been a breeze!
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received so far?
A: Relax and take it all in, because your day flies by. This is something we will definitely be keeping in mind on our big day! Kyle and I plan on taking many small intimate moments so that we can appreciate everything that has unfolded.
Q: What are you using Devine Wedding Design for?
A: Someone in our wedding party recommended Devine Wedding Design and although we are having a mostly DIY wedding, we were told that Wendy is great for backdrops and rentals. Knowing this, we planned a meeting with Wendy to pick our perfect linens. We are also using Wendy’s services for our head table backdrop, archway decor and accent tables (signing table & gift table).
